Getting in

• Step-free from the footpath on Ramsgate Avenue to reception, via a 1:14 ramp at the eastern end of the frontage. The main entrance under the arches has a single 120mm step and is not the accessible route.
• The reception door is 900mm clear and opens automatically between 07:00 and 22:00; outside those hours it is opened by the duty manager on the intercom, which is mounted at 1100mm.
• Two of the four parking spaces are 3.2m wide and are the ones nearest the ramp. They are held for guests who need them if you say so when booking.
• The nearest accessible drop-off is directly outside on Ramsgate Avenue. The kerb is ramped at the corner, 15m north.

Moving around

• The lift reaches all three floors. The car is 1100 × 1400mm with an 800mm door, which takes most manual and many powered chairs but not all of them — measure yours.
• Corridors are 1200mm at their narrowest, on the second floor by the linen store.
• The courtyard has a 40mm lip at the threshold from the ground-floor corridor. A portable ramp is kept behind reception and takes about a minute to place.
• Sal is step-free from reception and from the courtyard once the ramp is placed. Tables at 720mm height are by the arches; the banquette side is fixed seating.
• The Casa Loft is reached by a private stair of 14 steps with no lift alternative. There is no accessible route to it and there is no way to make one.
• The pool and sauna are in the courtyard. The pool has steps with a handrail and no hoist. The sauna door is 700mm.

The rooms

• Two Courtyard Rooms — numbers 4 and 6, both on the ground floor — have roll-in showers with a fold-down seat, grab rails at the toilet and shower, a 1500mm turning circle, and lever taps. Beds in these two are 600mm high with clear space on both sides.
• All other rooms have a step-free bathroom entry but a 150mm shower hob, and none have grab rails as standard. Rails can be fitted in Ocean Rooms with a week's notice.
• Terrace Suites have a freestanding bath with no transfer aid.
• Every room has a visual door alert and a vibrating pillow alarm available on request. Ask when booking rather than at check-in.
• Emergency evacuation from the first and second floors is by stair. Guests who cannot use stairs are allocated ground-floor rooms as a matter of policy, not preference.

Sensory and dietary

There is no music in the corridors or the courtyard. Sal is a hard-surfaced room and gets loud after 19:30 on a Friday and Saturday; the two tables by the arches are the quietest and can be requested. Assistance animals are welcome throughout, including in Sal. Coeliac and most allergies are handled with 24 hours' notice — more helps, because the menu is written each morning around what the kitchen bought.

This website

The site targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page is server rendered and readable with JavaScript disabled, including the navigation menu — it is a <details> element rather than a scripted drawer, so it opens without JavaScript and its links are in the HTML whether it is open or not. There is a skip link, visible focus outlines throughout, semantic headings on every page, and full support for prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme.

No image on this site carries information, because there are no photographs — the imagery is drawn in CSS and marked aria-hidden where it is decorative and labelled where it is not. Colour is never the only means of conveying anything.

Known gaps: the schematic plan on the location and contact pages conveys position by shape alone and is backed by a text label and a full address, but is not a substitute for a map. If something here does not work with your setup, tell us — that report is more useful than a conformance claim.
