Eighteen rooms in four categories.
Rates below are the lowest we charge in a given category, which in practice means midweek outside school holidays. The fortnight after Christmas runs roughly double.
Courtyard Room
The smallest rooms in the building, facing the tiled courtyard rather than the water. Quiet, dark at night, and the best value we have.
Ocean Room
East-facing, with a partial view over the rooftops to the north end of the beach. Sunrise arrives early and without asking.
Terrace Suite
Corner suites on the top floor with a separate sitting room and an uninterrupted line down the beach to Icebergs.
Casa Loft
One loft, under the roof, with two bedrooms and a kitchen. Booked months ahead over summer.
What every room has
King or twin bedding, split-system air conditioning, blackout blinds, a kettle with loose-leaf tea, a grinder with beans from the roaster on Gould Street, and a bathroom stocked from a maker in Marrickville. Wi-fi is unmetered. There are no televisions in any room, which is the single thing guests most often write to us about, in both directions.
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 10:00. Both move when we can. The full list is on the amenities page.
