Seven Courtyard Rooms sit along the western side of the first and second floors, looking into the courtyard and the fig tree that has been there longer than the building. They get no ocean and no sunrise, and in exchange they are the only rooms in the house where Campbell Parade on a Saturday night is a rumour rather than a fact.
Each has a king bed, a deep sill wide enough to sit in, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower finished in the original 1936 tile pattern. There is no bath in this category.
